About Erica
Hi, I’m Erica Barnaby, the founder of Homes by Harshaw Group.
Before real estate, I proudly served seven years in the United States Army and completed two deployments to Afghanistan. That time in my life taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of showing up for people when it matters most. Those values still guide the way I do business today.
I’ve been in real estate since 2019. I started my career on a team, grew into a solo agent, and eventually built Homes by Harshaw Group from the ground up. What began as a passion for helping people navigate the home buying process has grown into a business centered around education, trust, and long-term relationships.
One of the things that makes me different is my focus on education. Real estate can feel overwhelming, especially in a market that’s constantly changing. My goal is to make sure my clients understand what’s happening every step of the way so they feel confident in their decisions. When people are informed, they make better choices for themselves and their families.
Because of that approach, most of my business comes from referrals and past clients. There is no greater compliment than someone trusting me enough to send their friends or family my way.
Outside of real estate, I’m first and foremost a wife and a mom. My family is the reason behind everything I do, and they remind me every day why home matters so much.
Helping people find the right place to build their lives is more than a job to me—it’s something I truly care about.
